This 8-hour ECM course develops practical defensive-driving judgment for everyday motorists. Students learn to recognize hazards early, protect space around the vehicle, prevent distraction, manage speed, navigate intersections and work zones, share the road responsibly, protect occupants, and respond safely after a crash or roadside emergency.
The course combines Start Strong lessons, core instruction, skill-practice assignments, knowledge checks, written reflections, and a final defensive-driving action plan. The standard is simple: safe driving is not luck—it is disciplined attention, responsible choices, and repeatable habits.
